We went to the park on Saturday. Boy was that fun. There were so many new things to smell, people, and lots of other dogs. This was only my 3rd day in New York, so my social skills with other dogs, still wasn't very good, but my new mommy says I am getting a little better with each walk. I hope we go there again this weekend.
I'm not quite use to all this walking, but I am slowly increasing my stamina. I had to be carried home a few blocks yesterday, because after our walk, we walked down to get mommy and daddy some dinner. I got so tired. When we got home, I took a nap with Daddy.
On the home-front, I am not having any more accidents in the house. Even on the day where my new daddy had to go in for a morning shift so I was left alone for about 10 hours. I may have pulled a few things off of shelves, knocked over a planter full of dirt and played in it, unplugged the phone, and a couple other things . . . but I am told I wasn't too bad.
Oh god, he's so snuggly!
ReplyDeleteI would recommend crate training him for his safety and your peace of mind, when you are not at home. All my dogs love their crates, and go in there during the day, when they want some peace and quiet. We leave the doors open. They are only looked when we are gone, and they feel comfortable in there for the few hours. Ten hours is a long time for a pup to be alone, no wonder he wanted to play with something.
Oh my, it doesn't get much cuter than that! You guys are such a cute little trio!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh!!! Look what I missed! He is soooo cute! A little cutie!

He looks like such a happy little thing, bouncing along in the grass. No wonder he got tired out!
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck with the alone-time training! Monika might be on to something with the crate idea...
