Plotting

I think the greatest thing about handmade items is finding out someone truly is appreciating something you made. Not just because it's a great boost to the ego. :) Also because it validates your choice for that person. Garren's birthday is coming up here on the 19th. He will be two. His grandma says he really likes the frog I made him for Christmas.

This one:

Garren's Frog

So of course this has me all psyched! So I am going to try to knit him an elephant for his birthday and if I am truly ambitious, I might try to sew him a giraffe too. It's amazing what one is willing to do for others who appreciate their work. :)

I will be back tomorrow with pictures of my potholders from my swap as I forgot to go out in good light today. And maybe I'll have some ideas for stuffed toys for young Mr. Garren.

  1. A grateful recipient is such a wonderful thing, and they almost always end up with more to be grateful for! Have fun plotting. =)
