Garden Update

First, these are what I picked this morning. Little, but delicious!

Here is the whole group together. A little rearranged from last time though.

In the very front are the assorted pepper plants which are thriving like no one's business! Behind them are the tomato plants. As you can see, the starter plant which is on the left still has a few blooms, the colder weather this week made most of the flowers drop. The tomato plants to the left are thriving, but no blooms yet, these are the ones that were started from seed.

Chives are a little blurry. Not much growth from last week. The colder weather last week threw them off also.

Coleus thrived last week and had a bit of a growth spurt. You can clearly see some of the color variations really starting to develop.

The dill doesn't yet smell all dill like, but the cold weather wasn't enjoyed by the dill plant either.
Photobucket

Cilantro is pretty much the same as last week, it didn't care for the cooler weather either.

The zucchini plant was a little confused last week, the foliage grew more, but it dropped it's flowers due to the colder weather. Bummer! There are a few very small buds on it again though.

The strawberry plant thrived like crazy last week. Other than the berries up top from this morning, I have picked berries a few times this week.

Here we have a couple new additions to the plants that are indoors:

Birds Nest

This was labeled Kim Queen, but it doesn't look like any of the pictures online I've seen of Kimberly Queen, so not quite sure which kind of fern this is.

  3. Food never tastes better than when it's your own. I'm glad your little garden is taking off, despite the cold. We lost an oregano plant to rain last week, but other than that things are going great here!

  4. Looking good. Mine are doing pretty good as well. I have a feeling I am going to have lots of tomatoes. Too bad even the site of them send me running for a bucket :(. Guess the boy will have to eat them or I can freeze them for seven months :)... ONE MORE DAY TILL YOU ARE MARRIED!!!
