Blume Hat FO Post

Cannot believe I forgot to make a post about this!!

I enjoyed making this hat. Took a bit longer than I had expected, but it turned out nice. I took some pictures flat and on myself. . . keep in mind my head is bigger than the person it is intended for so it doesn't fit me quite right! :)

Pattern: Blume Hat from Knitscene Fall 2010
Yarn: Ozark Carding Mill, LLC - Yarn I got from someone's destashing a while ago.
Color: was Natural, but I dyed it with Wilton's Purple Icing dye so the dye would break up and make fractured colors. Turned out purple, blue and pink.
Care: Hand Wash and lay flat to dry.
Needles: US 2
Modifications: Used a smaller needle size and knitted the largest size to compensate for this.

Overall, would knit this again. I liked it. This is for my sister, Echo, for Christmas, so hopefully she loves it too!

  1. Hmmm... Like the ruffle and the ... way it is notched at the face.
