The peppers have been growing wonderfully in this heat. This is what I picked this morning:
I also did the long task today of transplanting the baby cacti into larger containers. They don't always transplant well, so we will see how things go from here. I took a few pic up close. These aren't all, but a few.
This is the first time I have been able to get any of this kind to grow, so I am hoping it survives.
If all of them survive, my apartment will definitely be overrun by cacti when it gets colder and I need to bring them inside. Overall, still happy with what did work out this summer. I am hoping none of the squirrels or birds get to the tomatoes before me when they ripen.
I think I need to try growing some cacti-always liked the variety. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my fingers crossed for your cacti. They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteYour cacti are awesome and so cute. I can’t believe that there are also cacti lovers here in the world of blogging. I hope that they can survive the every steps of growing.
