Baby Blanket 7/14/07

I woman I used to work with who had been trying to have a baby called me a few months ago to say she was pregnant. Excited for her, I made her a baby blanket. I wanted to try something a little different so I went with a log cabin approach and

Here are two different views of the entire blanket. Measure somewhere around 3 feet by 3 feet, can't remember exactly. Was quick and easy to make. I enjoy how it turned out and the mother liked it too.







And last, here are a couple close ups of the blanket. The pattern was completely made up, just went of a granny stitch and planned it out. I kind of think of it as one big granny square.
